Do you have a plan for an active science lesson, but lack the funds to make your idea happen?
National Semiconductor created the Science in Action Awards for you. Tell us about your project and what you need to make it happen. An independent panel of judges will pick the best projects in each of our communities to fund.
Awards for Individual Teachers
Up to $2,000 to purchase materials for your classroom.
A personal award of $1,000 in recognition of your efforts.
Awards for Teacher Groups
Up to $5,000 to purchase materials, divided between classrooms. A personal award of $2,000, divided among winning teachers. (Up to five teachers from the same school can apply together.)

Register now or log-in using your username and password from 2006-07. You may revise and edit your application until the final submission deadline at 4:00:00 PM PT on November 8, 2007. Winners will be notified by February 10, 2008.
Applicants who have previously received a National Semiconductor Science in Action Award are not eligible.
